204 ruger primers ?

Just wondering what you guys are using for primers. I've been using rem 7.5 which is a mag srp in the hornady book. Although it dosn't say that they are a small mg rifle primer on the package. it only states that it a bench rest primer. what are you guys using ? I'm only asking this because my local gun store doesn't havw a great selection of reloading componets. So are any of you guys using small rifle primers in your 204s and do you think it will make much of a difference............ before i load some up. thanks

I use CCI 450 small rifle magnum primers. 1) they are hard and resist cratering 2) I use ball powder which can be sensitive to ignition in cold weather and 3) they add 10-15 fps over the br4s.

Any small rifle primer will work... no special requirement.

X2 on CCI 450's. Also for some reason they are alot easier for me to find.

I`m using Win srp`s at present and have CCI`s in stock when i need them. I do stock up when i see a good price and usually have an extra carton or 3 in the shelves.
