I have the same rifle in a walnut varmint. Mine loves 39gr Blitzking with 28gr of Varget. FS
 
I have a tikka t3 in .204 which i believe is also a 1 in 12 twist too. I found the 39gr sierras with 25.5 gr of benchmark worked really good! under 1/2" at 100yds. It is just below max load and i didn't even try to go any higher once i got these results. Also the 40gr nosler with 25.2gr of varget shot decent too.
 
26 grains of Varget OR 26 grains of IMR4895 with 39g sierra BK work well for me or 25gWC735 and 39g Sierra BK for summer loads.

My winter load is 26 grains H335 with 32g Hornady VMax.
 
So far my Tikka preferes 32 gr Sierra BK`s, Hornady 39gr didn`t perform well. For powder it`s a toss up between H322 and 4895. Been using h322 cause it meters nicer, going to try some 8208 as well. A lot of info i found the Sierra bullets had an edge over Hornady, Barnes VGrenades i don`t like at all. Have some Berger 40gr to try soon.
 
What you using it for? Coyotes? Then use the 35gr bergers. For gophers use the 32gr vmax. I load both with benchmark powder. Shoots great!! 1/4" groups
 
In my TC precision hunter, I use Nosler brass, 39BK, 205M and TAC. 8208XBR also works well and gives about 75 fps more. I get 5 shots under 1/2" consistently. Be sure to try different primers once you get the charge weight where you want it. I tried 7 1/2, 205M, WSR, and BR-4. The 205M brought the group size down as much as tuning the charge weight. I also seat way out to mag length, 2.39" OAL.
 
I forgot to ,mention the Hornady 40g VMax do not perform well in my gun (Remington 700 SPS Varmit). I consistently get 3-4" groups.

I have heard that others have better luck with them but not me.
