.204 vs .223

Has anyone ever tried rechambering a .223 to .22-250? It sounds kinda bubba, but who knows.

It's not really worth it, since you'd have to change out the bolt head, as well.

Get a .22-250 and be done, the others that have been mentioned are tier two.

It depends on the purpose. If one is shooting gophers or taking multiple shots the 22-250 is too darn noisy. Farmers dont need shock and awe in their back yard.

Savage is a barrel change, headspace fit, use same bolt just a different bolt face($15) I hear.
