209 primer question

I want to start reloading BP shotgun shells, are there special BP primers or can I use regular 12 guage reloading ones? For some reason I'm having trouble figuring this out, it's either the Scotch or I'm just friggin dense. Thanks in advance.

What brand of case do you have. The ones I have use large pistol primers. I think they're called Magtech??

I'm using once-fired Canadian Tire cheepy cases

I use any make of 209 primer as pressures are very low and igniting black powder does not require alot of spark.
