209 Primer Shortage?

I'm thinking about hanging up my bow this season in lieu of buying an inline Muzzle-loader.

Eyes are on a CVA Wolf likely but everywhere I talk to tell me that the 209 primers needed to shoot them are hens teeth.

Is that the case?

Also - anyone wanna sell me their muzzy?
 
I own a CVA Wolf and like it. Also own a CVA Firebolt and like it too.

I also reload 12g shotgun shells.

I personally have not had a problem getting 209 primers in SW Ontario. Some stores have them, some don't. Sometimes they are expensive, other times not too bad.

Some stores keep them with the muzzleloader supplies, other in the reloading section.

YMMV. I say get a muzzleloader, read lots of info online and watch YouTube videos, and enjoy your single shot rifle :)
 
I started out muzzleloader hunting with a CVA Wolf and liked it, was light to carry, easy to clean and accurate enough. I shot a couple deer with it, then switched to a smokeless muzzleloader. WK
