.....

Inspired by the video above, I ended up 3d printing a pair of cups and sanded one just enough to match in weight.

As much as I love the Area 419 upgrades, I was looking at the aluminum cups but couldn't stomach paying $190 for a pair.

I saw the pic you posted. Wish I had a printer , the cups look great. Can you make them with slightly longer handles. ;);)

The glass ones from auto trickler were about 20 grains different in weight. I used tape to equalize the two.

This where I found the idea for two cups.

Cooool !

I just have the original cup that came with the V3 -which basically looks like a shot glass with a 3D printed handle -they work just fine.
Looks like Adam sells them in an extra parts kit for a modest $20.

I've looked at area 419 reloading stuff a few times, I couldn't stomach anything they sell for the reloading bench.
IMO I can't see upgrades adding too much additional performance - seems like its just "status symbol bench bling" to me.
I'm not one to spend $100K on an Escalade when a $60K 4 Runner will do the same job.

Even if I'm a sucker for luxury sometimes (my diesel pickup is leather trimmed!), I do not like to throw my money out the window either.
And I have yet to see the value added (for the price) of Area 419 reloading stuff.
Heck for the price of their upgrade kit, I got another giraud fraud lookalike, which will benefit me much more than a few shinny parts...

I could send you a pair for whatever it costs to ship them to you :)

The only thing I've shelled out for was the Lexan Lid for the FX scale, a lot more rigid than the top it comes with, and I can see what's going on as it's dispensing powder.

Yeah, I think I will try to make the handle a little bigger and the opening slightly wider.

If anyone wants to print their own: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4675233

Looking good, do they produce any clingy static?
