20ga ammo outtage

I know there is no 20ga ammo to speak of available in my area, but I was curious
if anybody has any specific insight into the reasons for the 20ga (and 12ga) ammo shortage continuing
if not worse...

are you not seeing any available or none available at a reasonable price?

I have seen a lower selection of 12 and 20 but its still on the shelf here.

nothing as in 'out of stock'
12s can be had on occasion but 20s are another issue entirely !

Some of the sponsors still have in stock of some 20ga ammo. Like many calibers, much of the stock is indeed out of stock, but there are some still available in the GTA:

I was also curious about what was causing the shortage and if there was an end in site. Getting pretty scarce in Sask right now. Hard to find steel BB in 12 ga under $30-$35. Target ammo is getting to be in the $15 range everywhere you look. I did happen to find some Fed top gun in 20 Ga for $10.49 a box yesterday, but that's an exception. Getting so you can't be too picky about shot size or velocity.

I have seen 20ga all all the stores, Just no flats. I heard from a guy.... its like the cool ranch Doritos during covid19... they are keeping production on 12ga as its the most popular. Makes sense.

I do know you have a better chance getting a flat of challengers than anything.. After months of no stock on 410.... locally I found flats of them popping up again in the weeks.
