21 April 3 Gun @ Spruce Grove Gun Club.

Well,

First one in the books as they say. All I have to say is WOW!!!! What a turn out!!! First match of the year and 43 (I think) shooters out.

Thanks for bearing with us this morning, I know it was long and probably boring, but it was the only way get the most exposure to the way we want to see things this year.

If there was something unclear or something that you think might work better or improve on something that was said or shown, please let us know. Either pm myself or Sosa here or drop us an email @ wras.3gun@gmail.com.

There will be some more props coming that will make you go Really???? I have to do what!!!!! And some improvements to the new ones that where out today.

Again thanks for coming out and having fun.

This is my first 3 gun match. Even i didn't have rifle and shot gun. but i meet so many friendly shooter. someone let me try to shoot their AR and shot gun. That was so fun. But i didn't do well. I need to exercise my arm first. LOL

By the way, i take some picture for my squad. I will update to my album and lock it.
If you are interest, please PM me. i will send the link to you.

Great turn out with some fun stages. Looking forward to playing more this summer.

Met some new guys and knocked the rust off. Good times.

I had a great time! Thanks for all the work that goes into organizing and running an event like this!

It game me the chance to test my funky new range camera project at the shoot, here's a video: http://vimeo.com/40866488

And here's another stage where for some reason I had a glitch in the front-facing camera that caused this crazy green hue on everything!: http://vimeo.com/40831728 :D

I did mention it's experimental, right?

If anyone is interested in the details of my experimental Gun Camera (the funky green distortion is an anomaly, I swear!) the project is being documented on a different site here: http://www.thefiringrange.ca/showthread.php?tid=126

I ran my GoPro head cam mount. It turned out pretty decent. Don't mind the water mark, I still need to find a free video editing program that will work with mp4 files, Windows movie maker won't do it.

If we do some long gun only stages I'll try mounting on the gun, until then, I hate to drop the gun/camera half way through a stage.

Looks like it was a great time.

I am happy to see more and more people bringing out camera gear as much as gun gear to share with the rest of us who could not make it.

Looks like it was a great time and I hope to catch the next one!.

Here are the results.

Any pics up yet from April 3rd spruce grove match

I was just wondering if there is any pics up anywhere from that match aswell as any scores thanks.

Haha I must have been in a really good group - I was finishing near the bottom on every stage, but finished middle of the pack overall. Not bad for an old guy! And I take solace that quite a few above me would have been running open division.

Yep, next match will have the scores split into open and standard as well.

I was pretty inpressed that we had 40 people all with different first names with is pretty unusual, but keeps the confusion down.

Sam
