Weirdly heavy on the food for what is essentially a 72 hr bag. I'd go with better water carriage. And why have a fork/knife/spoon if the only food in there is bars?

Instead of a hammock and a blanket, you'd probably be better off with a blanket and a tarp.

If I had to pick a tool to use in a life or death situation, I think the last choice would be a rothco 5 in 1.

There's only one method of making fire in this kit, and its one step up from rubbing sticks together. What about a lighter? Matches? Tinder?

Nothing is wrong other than shipping lighters and matches through the post is a big no no. There are allot of top of the line items that we could put in here, however $350+ survival bags do not sell well. If you look on the bright side, if you are looking for stocking stuffers, you can buy 1 kit and have plenty of items to give out if you choose.

At 72 hours that would equal 1466 calories per day.
