.218 Bee Brass - need a source

Very cool can you make a full post of your build, we would love to see it. I have several martini cadets and full size in various calibers, large frame .577snider, .218bee, cadet frame 5-.22's 1-256wmalso has .218bee barrel the last one is made from a .22 rechamber. My full size .218bee is an awesome shooter and my girl friends favorite of the bunch.

1000+ cases is a lot, I only have maybe 100 that I reload. I did find some .218bee can be found once and awhile with the older gun stores. Likely be a special order for that much.
 
Starline brass is out there.

32-20, 25-20, and 218 bee are your donor calibers, all based off the same parent brass. Gonna be forming brass anyway.

Thanks to all that responded. Hopefully I'll have sourced some this week form the recommendations you've passed along. I'm looking for a large quantity so I'll never need to go looking for more, at least as long as I own the rifle.

Jason Spencer will be building the rifle for me from a BSA Martini model 12 that has been bubba'd by the previous owner. I had an old Model 6 in 22 Hornet but reloading the brass is a delicate venture so I thought I would try a 218 Mashburn Bee with its more stout brass.

I'll post pics once it's done.

More stout brass? That's funny!

The brass thickness isn't much more than the thickness of the Hornet brass, on the 32-20 based cases. By modern standards, pretty lightweight stuff.

It just means that you actually have to pay attention when running the stuff through the sizers, rather than pounding it through while watching TV, as you can do with modern cases.

Isn't any consolation, but it appears .218 Bee ammo and brass is a DIY thing even Stateside. Midway was listing Winchester as their only supplier and it's "Temporarily unavailable". Remington 25-20(also their only supplier) is listed as seasonal only.
 
Woohoo!!!!! Just found 100 pieces of 218 Bee and 500 pieces of 25-20 which I will resize.

Dies - check
Brass & Bullets - check
Powder - check

Now I just need the rifle to be built! The waiting game begins....
