Smack him in the right place and he will go down easy. Once I killed three point mule dear with 22 K Hornet, 50gr X bullet with the shot to the neck at almost 140yds. This buck just folded from that bullet perfect performance and 100% weight retention. Coyote with the proper shot will be as dead even at 200yds IMHO.

... The 218 Bee, years ago, was used very successfully, in Australia, by Professional Hunters, for "Roos, Foxes, Rabbits and Goats. Of course, these days it's relegated to the back-burner of "Thin Skinned Game" rounds. A shame really, as it's a versatile round. ..... David K

I use a .22 hornet with no problems at that <150 yd range. A .218 bee is just a little better.

Yah sure give it a go we've shot them with 22 ccb within 50 yards
