The scope will be gone in no time at $325 shipped on the EE. I’d list the rifle separately at $950 and see what happens. There is no value in selling them together.

yeah in this day an age, do what others would do to you..

Wack a minty on it.... if it sells, it sells, if not, put it back for a month, pull it back out ,, a new photo and a new price tag, slightly lesser.

Yup…this. Likely squeeze a bit more outta the scope if minty and no marks on tube or glass…maybe $370 shipped. Definitely will get more splitting them up and this valuation is spot on

Remington made the 700 in the "Classic" series with a different chambering every year since 1981, ending 2005. 280 was 1997 with less than 2000 made in this configuration. Values are right in the ballpark.

I have 700 Classics in 222 Rem, 6mm Rem, 6.5x55, 7x57. Had them in the past in 300 H&H, 300 Savage, 30-06, 280 Rem, 257 Roberts, 270 Win, & 8 x 57.
The Classic stock is my favorite....it just feels right in my hands. The CDL is close. That is a nice rifle/scope combo. $1000.00/1100.00 Dave.
