22-250 action and bolt face

I am thinking of buying a remington 700 in 22-250. I was just wondering if the action and bolt face are the same for the 22-250 as they are for the 223? If I have to swap out the barrel in the future I am wondering if I could have it chambered to 223. Is this possible or is the action and bolt face a different size?

22-250 has a 0.473" bolt face, which is the 308/30-06 family. 223 is a 0.378" bolt face, so it isn't going to work with your existing bolt.
