22-250 for deer

Two problems, lack of really good big game bullets in 22, and 14 twist.

Not really sure of a good, non target/varmit bullet. Know there's a 60gr partition, probably a Barnes tsx/ttsx. Would 1-14 stabilize those? Beyond that, what's to stop a 70-80gr .223 working as well as a 70-80gr .243?

Here, with tiny deer I'm sure tempted to try my 22hornet. Really doubt there's anything close to a big game bullet for.the hornet

I agree, .22-250 were ment to push light bullets fast. Sierra makes a couple 65 gr "Game Kings"; if the rifle will stabalize these, they would work, but I'm not a fan of .22 anything for deer.
