So I'm running a savage model 12 LRPV single shot left port right bolt in 22-250, I've got a shilen select match on the way in 1:8 twist, I'm wanting to hear input from people that are shooting 70-82 grain bullets and what are you finding most accurate, both target and hunting loads.. And if ya feel like sharing some recipes I'd be ok with that too lol

Im shooting 75 gr amax in my 8 twist .22-250. Accurate enough for me, as I am no compettor. 36.5gr of h4350 and winchester standard primer.
Getting approx. 3200fps.

I used to use 75 grain Hornady BTHP Match in a fast twist 22/250 for coyotes. Worked good. It wasn't exactly the best hide bullet, but better than some. Good in the wind.

I don't remember the charge any more, but it was 4064 and a CCI benchrest primer.

h4350 is hard to find. IMR4350 is easier to find and I have 2 brand new pounds of it I'm going to switch to once my 3/4lbs of hodgden is gone. Apparently they are virtually twins but I'm go through the load workup thingy when I do switch. Hadnt heard of anyone using 4064 for the heavies in the .22-250. Glad I came back and checked.
