It still amazes me the regulation differences from province to province.
In NB, for deer, bear or moose, we can use ANY centerfire caliber. I guess the 223, the 223 WSSM, the 22-250 and the 204 Ruger are good to go although they are not ideal.
However, after deer, bear or moose season, we cannot use anything .23 caliber or greater (whether it be centerfire or rimfire). This is somewhat bad seeing as I see lots of guys out west use 243 for coyotes and lots of fellas here would like to do the same.
