22-250 or ruger 204

Id take a .204 myself. Ive owned both and a .204 with a 39 gr. Blitzking will do anything a 22-250 will do with less pelt damage if your into furs. A 32 gr. vmax in the gopher match is a marvel....Ive punted gophers 6 ft in the air as well as made them into mist.
One really nice thing about the .204 is that all shots can be seen in the scope, there is next to no recoil. A 22-250 will not allow you to stay in the scope 90% of the time.

Cheers!!

I sold a 22-250 to go down to a .204R, to off-set my main Yote rig in .243win

The .204R is lighter & quieter in recoil, running around 38-4000fps with hand loads, flatter trajectory than the 22-250 past 300yrds & has longer barrel life over the 22-250.

What's not to like?

Don't forget to also pickup a 222 and one of each 223 with a 12 and 8 twist barrel. Then you will be a true CGNer specialist on popular varmint calibers and can give your personal experience opinion when someone asks.
