22 250 Remington barrel life question ?

I can get a good deal on a 22 250 Remington 700 sps stainless 24 inch Sporter barrel,but is has 400 rounds fired out of it how much barrel life does it still have ?

2000+ if it hasn't been overheated and you don't overheat it

Another 1000. With mine it suffered throat erosion.
Rebarreled cheaper than buying a new rifle.
Are you able to test it or have a gunsmith examine it prior to purchase?

I would be purchasing online so I don't have the option of having a gunsmith to view it before purchasing.once I find a load it likes I will only be using it for hunting so I won't be firing many rounds after a zero . Thanks for the advice

You likely have 2-3000 accurate rounds left. I put 4000 pretty hot rounds through a stainless M77 22-250 and it was still rarin'ta go when I sold it.
