I finally found a nice Mountain Rifle barrel for the barrel swap on my Remington 700 in 22-250.:D It has a 24 inch matte blue barrel on it now with sights and its going to be changed over to a clean 20 inch stainless mountain rifle barrel in .308 Winchester. :D
The stock is Remington's factory ADL synthetic and the stainless should be a nice contrasting look. :cool: I have a nice wood stocked 7x57 in a Mountain Rifle that I bought from another gunnutz member but when it rains here I will be leaving it at home as not to warp the wood and the synthetic on the "new" gun will stand the weather better and also the caliber is more suited to deer and bigger critters than the 22-250 .:)
I know the 22-250 will take deer but I feel better with something a little bigger.:)

Hey guy. Last report, the 'Canyon' is open, so we can get to the range & 'make gravel'. I think it was going to be '45-70 day' on our next outing.
