What is the correct rate of twist to stabilize match bullets from 69 - 75 gr in a .22-250?.

Is it possible to use a 1-9" twist barrel for this caliber?

I think the 1-9 twist would be good for the 75 gr. bullets. Yes it is possible to use this twist and I think it is preferable to the standard 1-14, or 1-12 which limits you to light 55gr bullets.

Norms right on. A 1-10 twist would do the Berger 70gr BT and you would be looking at about a 1-8 twist for 80grs.

We've got the following Berger heavies in stock and are expecting more.

80gr vld, 75gr vld, 73 bt, 70gr vld, 64gr flat base, 60gr flat base..
