You are actually legally allowed to use a 22 250 while deer hunting in NB!

realy I think we can all see that is a yote but did you see the hole in the yote how much harder do you think deer ribs are then yote ribs .if a 22 250 can blow right thru a yotei know it will do the same on a deer most deer are only 100 pounds or less around southern ont DUTCH

If you restrict yourself to deer 100 lb and under then the 22-250 is adequate,yes.

There are so many out west, that a lot of people just leave them there. I'm going to skin a few for their hides and give them too my friend who is making leg warmers and a hat. After he has enough... who knows, I may leave them there too. Too bad there isn't a bounty on them here in Alberta like in Saskatchewan. I know they did have a bounty.... you had to be a resident, and got $100 per coyote to a maximum of something like 10k.

in Ontario you have to skin and preserve the hide

LOL, guess I was $80 off. I remember back in maybe 2009 when I heard about the bounty, I was all "gun" hoe to drive to SK and cash in... then I found out you had to be a resident!

with a proper bullet(non varmint) I would not think twice about any deer within 100 yards or so something like a tsx would do nicely

I said most deer are 100 lbs we do get some bigger ones bigger ones .but if you have been a butcher as long as I have you will soon see that most guys over estimate there deers weight DUTCH
