I noticed some ammo at the Regina East store that I haven't seen before. Not saying that it hasn't been around, just that I haven't noticed it.

Winchester 22 RIMFIRE XPERT HV HIGH VELOCITY 22 Long Rifle 36 grains 1280 fps. 500 round box, hollow point, @ $21.99 per box.

After waiting until somebody showed up with a key, and having to show the color of my socks and underwear, the lady who opened the cabinet wouldn't even let me hold one box while she dug out another, plus a box of CB shorts. And, of course, she had to carry them up to the front.

$21.99 is still a good price for 500. I have several .22's, so they will work in something. My 10/22 doesn't seem to be fussy, plus I have a Mossberg Plinkster semi and an old Savage 6AB semi. I have cases of the Federal 525's that I bought when cheap at the Co-op. Gophers beware!! (But at least I give them warning shots first!!:p:p)

The Win Expert has been around for several years now, most folks think it is real dirty, so you may want to shoot it in something other than one of your semi autos. FS

FS: Thanks for the tip. I'll burn it off in my .22/20 ga. That little combo is great gopher medicine!:p

ammo at canadian tire

did I ever laugh when you said you had to show the colour of your underwear and your socks because it;s true . it;s so nice to go into a local gun store and purchace ammo without the look like your some kind of crazy weirdo by someone that has never had the fun of shooting say a 22 at a range or what ever .

most of them are just like robots and do as they have been told . I;m glad alot of shops have gone to single pages when they write your PAL info down as I had never liked haveing my info exposed to the next person buying ammunition . the local canadian tire lost it's book or had it stolen years ago and I think several homes were broken into after .

I saw remington thunderbolts selling for $35 dollars a brick the last time I was at crappy tire . I never buy ammo there anymore I perfur to support the local gunshop instead .
