.22 Ammo Stash

And all of a sudden, the thread takes a twist. I now have 51.6lbs of .22 according to my bathroom scale, no box or ammo can, just cardboard.
YOU do the math. :runaway::rolleyes:

Another question, do you think CT will price match if there is no Cabelas in your town or even province? Don't know if they will PM on a mail order site. Also, the ammo isn't even listed on their site. Buggar. It's not like I'm buying enough to worry about, but $2.60 per box adds up after a while.

cheers

Well, I dont believe you can ever have too much ammo, .22 and other rimfire included.

Here is a picture of my current stash.

Actually thats just part of it, although I have been building it for years, slowly adding more to replace what gets used at the range or in the field.

This is the actual complete stash, and as I look at it I feel the amount of .22 is at the bare minimum and I am woefully low on .17HMR.

Please ignore the ghetto 2 X 6 shelving :p

Tried to do a price match with ammo today at a CT, I got told NO, they excuse was the store I was trying to price match was to far away (around 80-100kms away) I said screw it and got it all anyways! I needed some CCI Blazer and FINALLY found some price match or not!!

But I've also went to my local Canadian tire and yes they did a price match with ammo, I think it was from a store over 250kms away, they didn't even care lol

My 2 cents, give it a shot! worse they can say is no,

PS WHAT A GORGEOUS STASH YOU HAVE!!! ^^^ Ive never even seen half of those CCI's before lol before my day I guess!

Bass Pro at Vaughan Mills had a bunch last weekend. Call ahead and if they have it, give them your card and they'll set them aside for you.

p.s., i've bought as many as two bricks (10 boxes) at a time there. They don't seem to have a limit.
