I remember the day when you could scoop up 10 - 500 packs for $145.00. Yes $14.50 each taxes in. Did that a couple of times. Only have 4000 rounds left. No they are staying with me. I reload 223 for the same price some purchase 22 lr for.

When Sail opened and had ammo on special, I went a little nuts and bought 200 bricks. Didn't even dent the stores stock, they brought 2 more skids in the next day and the next. So I have shot maybe 14 bricks, and it's looking like I may bequeath about 20 bricks to my heirs.. So far not a fail to fire, so it must be stored AOK.

I have a little over 11,000 rounds of Lapua Std+ and another 4000 of a mixer of 333, 555 Blazer and eley practice.
But I really miss my CCI Standard velocity as it was (is) my go to ammo. I soon hope it comes back at a price cheaper than the Lapua Std+.

Buy it cheap stack it deep! Those days are gone. Glad i followed my mantra before the shortages hit our stores. Im good untill the next shortage lol. The local gun store was selling 500 round bricks for $55 plus tax!!! Ammo when cheap is an awesome investment. Wish my rrsp's would double that quick lmao

Not really at all. A few years ago you could have bought a pallet of 22 ammo and not made a dent in the stores stock.
