Are you looking for a rifle in 22LR or 22mag? In 22mag the choices are pretty limited and I can't think of one that has a larger capacity then 10 rounds. But the is the Keltec CMR and the CZ512 that you can get in 22mag. Both are semi-auto and accept a detachable magazine. The 597 used to come in 22mag but they are hard to find on the used market and the 1022 in 22mag is always hugely overpriced. But those are options as well.

Clip or mag, who really cares. They were always called clips in southern Alberta growing up and even some gun company's called them clips. It gets old with the clip/mag thing. I never thought of calling a clip a mag till I joined CGN and no one ever said anything about it in over 50 years till I came here. Why does anyone really GAF about it anyway? I have a Remington 541 Magazine CLIP in front of me right now, in the package, that is labeled as just that MAGAZINE CLIP.

Assault weapons, assault rifles, who really cares? Left leaning retards use whatever they want to, but, it doesn't make it right...

Tons of .22 semi auto rifles with detachable mags available over 10rnds, as mentioned above & {Peitta Puma, ALL the GSG's, a few models now, Savage} even Old Squires Bingham has 15rnd mags. Where ya been? Unless you meant something different.

597 is a great option. The newer ones have no issues. I preferred mine to my 10/22. My 30 round mags only loaded to 27, but close enough. Polish the rails and torque the action screws properly if you have any issues.
