.22 black rifle

ok maybe im not looking in the right spot but i cant find what im looking for so ill ask here..... Is there somewhere i can buy a non restricted .22 rifle modeled after a rifle such as M-16 or the car-15 or a simular rifle? at this time im not looking to mod a 10/22 to look like a black rifle.

recently on the exchange there were a couple of .22 rimfires modeled after the M1 carbine... can't remember what they are called though.

You can buy a 10/22 and accessorise it after a variety of black rifles - do a search or go to rimfirecentral.com. In stock config with a 25 round mag it loosely resembles an M1 carbine.....

Motoman, that is a LOT of upgrades.

There's the Rhineland R22. It uses the same mags+bolt as a 10/22 but uses the AR15 trigger group and grip assembly. There were apparently some issues with the early models although it appears the bugs have been worked out.

Availability might be an issue.
