I shoot on my acreage and collect all the shells. I have boxes of the stuff. I've seen little trinkets made out of used brass.
Just wondering if you guys have seen anything else made out of them?
Can you melt them down or take them to a place to melt them down? Over 75lbs of the stuff should be used for something.

I sell them to my local scrap metal yard once a year along with any other scrap metals I've amassed in the yard.
$2.05 right now

Darn over a $1 for 1 lbs, Doesn't recyclers not take brass ammo? That's what I've been told. So that's the reason why I have so much. lol
Any places in Calgary you guys can recommend?

Shred-a-can, Calgary metal or Navajo

Best to call all the scrap dealers because the price will vary widely and can change daily. I used to do a lot of scrap metal salvage in Calgary and always liked Miles at shred-a-can best. They're not far off Glenmore trail.

What? Nobody suggested leaving them in a schoolyard somewhere?
Thats funny as heck! Back in my day, we had to pull the fire alarm to get out of school for maybe an hour. In these "days" , a couple empty 22 rounds would likely shut the school for a week lol.
