Good day everyone!

I've got enough parts lying around now for two 10/22 builds that have been in the works for a while... looking for opinions on what parts should go with each build...

Build 1:
PWS reciever, bolt
Kidd 20" Match barrel
Timney trigger
Victor Titan stock

Build 2:
DAR 22 reciever
Dlask 16.5" Target barrel
Tiger BX trigger group
Archangel precision stock

Thoughts? The scopes and rings are both relatively the same, looking for expertise on which combination of the above should go together!

Cheers

I mated a kidd match barrel to a Dlask receiver, it was an extremely tight fit but it is supremely (for a 10/22) accurate combination. Do either of the receivers have an integral rail? I'd probably mate the one with the integral rail to the kidd barrel, timney trigger, and titan stock.

Have a KIDD barrel, thinking about getting the Dlask receiver to finally put all my pieces together. Have read some comments previously about how difficult it was to mate the two together. Any tricks you can recommend?

I haven't tried to put either barreled action together yet, but both receivers have integral rails.. I'm just wondering because of the PWS headspace issues if the Dlask will be more accurate with the Kidd barrel or if I try the Dlask barrel with the PWS instead..

I would definitely recommend going with a Kidd lightweight of ultralight barrel. Even if you figure you will only ever use it at a range i still recommend going with the lighter barrel.Besides being way easier to carry i find the light barrels shoot better offhand.

There really isn't any reason not to go with the lighter barrels. I initially went with a heavy barrel and eventually ended up switching to a light barrel. Don't make my mistake.

My 2 dar22's have been outstanding. Even the sporter chamber barrel has shot under 1/2" @50 yards. 5 shot groups, eley contact ammo, bx trigger, magpul stock...I'd go with the titan stock, dlask action /bolt , Kidd barrel. That new Boyd's "at one" stock looks interesting also.

I froze the barrel and heated the receiver in the oven, even then it still required a significant amount of mechanical force (read hammer). let's just say it is NEVER coming apart.
