.22 Bulk Ammo

Just wondering if anyone knew where the best place to go would be to buy .22LR in bulk.

well now the question is... are we talking bulk as in a 'bulk pack' or are we talking bulk as in 'a large quantity'?

when I need a few rounds Walmart or Canadian Tire are my ususal go-to's for bulk packs... when I need to refresh my supply and get back up into the 5k-10k supply mark I shop around a bit but usually end up at a local gun shop when buying by the case (5k)

Very Few WM's and CT's sells ammos in the Toronto Area. Too much local politics involved in dealing with these stuff.

Wholesale Sports has American Eagle bulk packs for $19.95 right now, that's currently my go-to brand and price. Prior to the recent price jump I was buying Federal Champion.

That's too bad. Down here in the Windsor area all Walmarts and CTs carry a decent variety of all the common ammo.

I live about 20 minutes north of SFRC, and get spoiled there every time! In fact, I need to pick up more...In bulk, have acquired many different flavours there. They'll also have ammo for anything you own...DANGER: If you don't own anything that eats different ammo, when you leave the store you might. Great prices, and service for ammo +


If you're an urban guy, most C.T's., and Wally's will have bulk packs. Support a smaller store by paying a buck, or two more/500rds.

American Eagle a Deal?

I've been starting to use these. BUT realizing the little boxes only contain 40, not 50, no more American Eagles for me. I don't play the downsized for the same price game.

You should have started with;
- Your location. Availability could be very local;
- What kind of .22 and what type of activity you have in mind (plinking, target, hunting...);
- What are your priorities (Cheap, accurate, clean, certain brand...).

Actually, there are some good deals on .22's in Toronto and surroundings. Le Barron has some of the best prices anywhere, specially with their 10% off for the members. Variety and availability are so so. Williams Arms and Al Simmons and Accuracy Plus carry tones of .22's of all kind. No shortage around here.
