These #1 Brnos are very very nice rifles!!!!!! I have 2 and love them, very accurate, keep it and enjoy it. If you want to refinish,it's yours, do as you wish! If I were looking for another I would not care about the stock finish one way or the other, it would have no effect on what I would be willing to pay. However this is only one man's opinion! ha
