Looking for a 22cal. springer air rifle to hunt small game with. I'm in search of a gun that has good power (750fps-up). I don't want a piece of junk that will fall apart after 2000 shots. Any suggestions.

RWS (Diana) 460 Magnum - underlever springer - so its very accurate, packs a punch in .22 (I have one for plinking behind the cottage - it will easily punch through 3/4" plywood at 60 feet) - perfect for small game.

I have an HW97 in 177 and it is more accurate than a lot of 22's I've shot, mine is the blue laminate one, not inexpensive however. FS

You gets what you pay for...........RWS/Diana is starting to use Chinese parts .May be assembled in Germany but that's it.Harold

I've killed skunks ,gophers, crows ,grouse and grackles with mine in .22 It really likes JSB jumbo exacts in 5.52 dia and the JSB Predator for grouse that violently expands and always exits even at 35 yards[spruce hen]They are heavy but shoot one hole groups. If you go Weihrauch get a one piece mt with a recoil arrestor pin.Beeman AKA Sportmatch is as solid as all getout.I had a blast cleaning out some pigeons out of a storage shed as they were crapping on the brother-in law's combines .With the scope on 3X and IR mil-dot set on green for low light conditions it as raining birds 23 to be exact......Harold

The newer ones ,some have Chinese barrels.BAM/ RWS clones most parts are interchangeable...............Harold

I'm ignorant in this dept. and have'nt researched much but being English I thought the Webley,BSA and Logun makes deserve some consideration......I don't ever recall any problems with those makes before I crossed the pond. Are they available over here ? If they are take a look !!
Just my thoughts......

BSA was bought by GAMO and Turkey bastardized the formally UK quality made Webleys..................Harold...... find the older UK made guns

Well after much research I found a supplier of Xisico (BAM) XS B28 in 22cal. For less than half the price of a RWS 350. So will see how it works. First impression is very good, will have to give it the test of time. And yes it does look like a 350 clone. Was surprised how small my RWS 34 looks beside it.

Airgun Source in Ont............Lube the mainspring as they are all bone dry from the factory and the seal is likely cracked or damaged when installed.RWS350 mianspring and internals fit.A maccarri spring/seal is nice.............Harold Remove scope mt rail clean with rubbing alcohol and glassbed or non removeable locktite it back in place.UTG Leaper's scope base is the mt you want.D+L airgun out of BC has them $20 or so

BAM 28 is also made in .25 cal after a year of bugging them.Except they failed to allow enough space between barrel pin and chamber so you can see the pivot pin when cocking it in the barrel.............??????? The .22's are fine............Harold

got the 460 diana magnum in 22 cal, its a hammer, whistles through 1/2" plywood @ 20 meters.Very accurate .
Mods , hollowed out a half moon on the front sight(top) , and layed in a fiber optic rod from a sight set, then put a williams peep on the rail, cool hunting rig, and not heavy, power, and accuracy is choice.:)
97K, 350 DIANA, BSA, Webley etc will also work.

Ok Meester Mbogo, when did this chinese infiltration start? I have model 48, works great and I never do squat to it. However it is around 5 years old. I have to admit this pisses me off. I go outta my way to NOT buy from China where at all possible.
