RJI did too Heavy !s RJ
I was at the range today and one member there was quite pissed at his S&W 22A. Was hanging up on the ammunition he was using yet the scored rounds fired in his son's rifle just fine. Since I am looking for an autoloader too, I will pass on this model.Look for a used S&W 22A they are very good and quite reasonable to buy.
Graydog
The surplus beretta mod 71's that are currently available are nice and light
Who has those?
I noticed you don't like heavy guns, but both the 41 and Browning are heavy .22 guns. Thanks for the input Guys - I think i will get the S&W MP22 can spec - it will serve my needs the best i think - I already have a S&W M41 and a Browning Medalist for real target shooting !

So is the MP22 a very light gun?

And I thought the Browning Buckmarks were any ammo compliant.I've found that with .22LR, it can be hard to dial in on what ammunition a particular gun happens to like. For example, had two identical Buckmark's on the bench in front of me. One would shoot Federal AutoMatch all day, no issues. The other would shoot CCI Mini-Mag's all day, no issues. However, you put Mini-Mag's into the first pistol and AutoMatch into the second, and there would be no end to the issues.
