Where can you get a 1911 conversion for $100US?

The import thing into Canada is a burn for sure but I think you are a little off on your example....

I bought a Kimber a couple years ago and it was about $400 shipped and taxed...today I'd consider the STI conversion because I think it's a bit better but for a little more cash.
