.22 conversion kit for 1911 options

Have used the search function and read a bunch on .22 conversion kits for 1911's.

Wondering if you gentleman could help me compile the options so I can get moving on owning one.

I own a Norinco 1911a1 cleaned up by Armco and a Wilson Combat CQB Elite. Thinking it will most likely be used on the Norinco.

Which conversion kit do you prefer and why? Is your fav. available in Canada?

My preference is for the real deal Colt .22 conversion units. Nicely fitted and very accurate. Perfect mate for a Gold Cup frame. Yes, they are available in Canada but are usually pricey when found.

There was one for sale a short time ago in the EE on the parts forum. I think the asking price was $600. Not sure if it's sold or not. Here's the link:

That's sweet NAA. I had no idea Colt manufactured 22 conversions. I sure would love to own one. Pricey they are. I have one for my Glock but I don't use it that much just because it's not nearly as fun to shoot 22 as it is 9mm. Good cheap fun though! Mag loading is not much fun either (not that it ever was) but those small little 22 rounds get lost in my mitts.
 
My Kimber .22 conversion works very well and is very nicely made. I got it from The Shooting Edge.
 
Love my Kimber Conversion (read: Ciener) kit from www.theshootingedge.com one of our great board sponsors. They even carry many(many in stock) spare magazines for purchase. So I've got 3 more .22LR magazines for the conversion kit. This option allows me to stuff the empty magazines while my darling wife practices her BRASS acronym (breathing range acquire sights squeeze) shooting skills with the 1911 conversion kit on top of my Sproingfield Armory Milspec .45
