.22 conversion kit for glock 17

The Advantage Arms kit works very well. They're fussy for ammo type/brand but mine works very well.

I'm buying a Glock 17 shortly and want the conversion kit as well, IF I can find one, that is.

CCI Minimags and Remington Golden Bullets work the best. Rem Thunderbolts work too, but they foul the gun up faster.

One of the best gun related items I have ever bought! After you break it in with the manufacturer's suggested Remington golden bullets or other high velocity 40 grain ammunition it runs flawlessly with the cheap Walmart Dynapoints or the Winchester 333s. It's a cheap way to get good with your Glock in regards to trigger control, hand position, etc., but the recoil is definitely not the same. People suggest shooting off a few mags of the gun's original caliber when you are done to keep the recoil memory. I would recommend this kit to anyone.

If I remember.... The kit was $385 +tax. Comes with one mag, but Police Ord. sells extras... I think they were $35ea.

Yea, they're expensive but really convenient. I have one for my Glock 21 and I've enjoyed it a lot.

I love mine. I polished it for sheets & giggles. Turned out pretty good. It's definitely picky when it comes to ammo though. CCI mini mags work great in it. Cyclone plugged it up with lead so badly I couldn't get the cleaning rod down the barrel.
