Ended up buying a Colt Trophy Cup 1911 Frame.
I like the 1911 Frame and feels real nice so i went with it, cant go wrong for $425

I also have the Colt 1911 .22, Gov Model, (my wife's gun), I love this gun

getting Kadet slide ($600) as addition to my cz shadow
was the best choice I made.
if you decide to go ahead with conversion slide, if I am not mistaken , there were some posts about adding tanfoglio .22 slide to Jericho

For 600$ I would definitively buy another gun instead a slide kit.

Yea main reason i got it, wifey wants to get into shooting and the 45 is a lil much for her and so is the 9, i put 800 rounds thru my Jericho 941 and im loving it

GSG 1911 is a nice little plinker. Not a target gun, but looks and feels like a real 1911. Afordable, reliable, the finish is a little cheap and well the slide is not steel. I have one and love it.

Bought the Colt Gold Cup Trophy 1911 frame and all steel

Those Colt's are really nice, but with the price difference between the Colt and GSG I would expect Steel and much better internals.

COLT 425 so not a huge difference considering id have to pay 35 in shipping
