M&P-22 is an interesting suggestion, though I'd definitly push for the Browning 1911-22.

The wife has it, light, loves it, easy and not tempermental

Sig Mosquito...not IMO. Trigger pull is so heavy that it i hard enough for an adult to shoot. My 11 year old couldn't even squeeze the trigger and it has a very nice trigger job on it...so lighter then factory pull.....just my thoughts
