Does anyone have one of those loaders for hot lips/steel lips mags?
Are they butler creek or ramline? I've seen them at wholesale and thought they might be good for gopher season. Are they any good?

A good friend of mine has the speed loader thing that I think you're talking about.

His is from Butler Creek and seemed to worked well when I was watching him use it at the range.

I thought it was cool that it lined up the rounds for him.

** I have a different type of rifle, and the hi-cap mags don't fit. I do not have the loader myself. **

I have a couple bulter creeks and they are great. Once you get a feel for them they make loading pretty smooth. I have seen other companies make them now, but I haven't tried any of the others yet. Tried ram line mags and they are junk, they always split apart, to much pressure from staggereing the rounds.
If you're into handguns too, the ultimate cliploader from canam for mark II's, III's and buckmarks is really good too.

The Butler Creek loader works great. I bought mine mailorder from asimons on this sight because they have not been available locally for quite some time.

Bought a butler creek one, works amazing and keeps the lead off your hands if you are shooting cheap ammo like i was
