I am using only LilGun,since it provides more velocity with less pressure than most other powders.

I know that LilGun works.
My idea is to go in a different direction.

I went and looked in an Alliant loading data book I have (circa 1984) and that powder is not reccomended by them for that application. It doesn't mean it can't work just not listed by them. I have had good success with IMR 4227 but that is not what your asking about. I'll keep looking in more old manuals.

He has data for bluedot for most every cartridge, I think the hornet load is 6gr. I'll go over to acc. and make sure. FS

That is where I got the idea.

I use blue dot for loading 223, 22-250 and 243 regularly.
