I have reloaded a lot of .222 & .223 but this is my first year with the hornet and have run into a situation, after the brass was used 3 times some of the cases would not resize.I am using a lee collet die and it worked great until now, using R/P brass and 30 out of 100 brass after resizing the bullet will just slide in and out of the case.So I annealed the brass and got 4 goodones and 3 okay and the rest still the same.Am i missing something or just a :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: batch of brass?

To get more neck tension just take the top cap off the die , pull out the mandrel, chuck it in a drill and emory the mandrel down a thou or two with 400 grit, clean and reassemble.

Make sure you don't overdo it or you'll be working the thin neck too much.

Works fine. I would suggest 600 grit emery paper however because it cuts less quickly. It's very easy to take the mandrel down too small and then it's ruined. Wrapping the other end with something like sheet copper will allow you to chuck it into a drill easily without wobbling.
