I’m a fan boy of the hornet. I’ve owned a lot and still have a Ruger #1. Number 1 is a little more accurate than #3. Both are good on gophers to 200. Maybe better with a different shooter. Best was a micro medallion that my son claimed. If looking for another single it would be a Ruger #1.

Well the martini I was going to build was a bust. So back to the drawing board or have a bunch of ammo available! Lol
Funny to stumble across this thread, had the same wild hair a couple times, last time it fizzled was over a year ago. The thread got the thoughts churning again, checked the greasy LGS and they had a couple Martini Cadets, under $800 but also a Kimber 82 that could be had for 2K as it on consignment for a little more, so much cheaper in the end.
