Have you seen the prices for the mid to top end match ammo lately?I fail to see any advantage to this ammunition over regular plated .22LR. Furthermore, I suspect it is quite expensive for rimfire ammo.

It comes up, every now-and-then...
Still a very cool concept!![]()
I made a search just before my thread and I found nothing![]()

Even the 'practice' match ammo is not what I would call cheap. To each his own.
Have you shot any of this ammo? How about a range report if you have or are your comments just speculation?Yes, I'm aware of what some of the match grade ammo costs and I'm quite skeptical that this stuff is as accurate as it.
The marketing hype on the website makes me even less inclined to take this ammo seriously:
"Exact copy of 5.56 NATO."
"Military performance in rimfire."
"For thick-skinned application [sic] where deep penetration and bone-crushing energy is needed."
I wonder who gets paid to write this drivel.
Yes sir, we don't know until we try some. I don't mind going first if I can source this ammo in Canada.I'll believe the ads when I see some results.
