Bought them in the late60s .22longs and long rifle in the yellow boxes when I lived in quebec. as with ALL C.I.L/I.V.I best ammo ever produced in north America..

Me too, have about 10 boxes of it downstairs. I highly doubt if they are really worth much.

Whiz Bang was manufactured from 1934 until 1976. I might be able identify it better if you can tell me what colour the box and lettering is, "firecracker" lettering or leaning block "Whiz Bang" lettering, is it short, long or lr and what is the printed code on the inside flap of one of the 50ct boxes.

Do they look like this? I paid $12 for the box of 50 at a local antique store, so I guess that's about what they are worth...

These were produced from 1928-1931 and should have the code TT-52 on one of the inside flaps.

When I worked at CIL (early 60's) we cranked out 1 million rounds of 22 ammo a day - 7 days a week.
