.22 lr ammo value

Went back thru my Dads ammo locker and have found the stuff listed below. As I don't shoot the tgt 22 rifles like he did I was wondering if it would be worth my time to trade this to some tgt shooters in the club if this stuff is hard to find.

87 rds Lapua Midas 22 LR
87 rds Lapua Master 22LR
90 rds Eley Target 22LR
140 rds Eley Match 22LR
150 rds Fed Gold Medal 22LR

There's really not enough of anything there to really interest most serious rim fire target shooters. It looks like you have some tag ends from # lots that your father bought to try our or just had left over.

That stuff is all pricey-er than run of the mill rim fire ammunition but in such small and varied quantities, it's hardly working up a sight picture for.

Take it out and use it for grouse or gophers and remember your father every time you shoot it.

I'm with bearhunter. No real value to a target shooter. Any target shooter that is good enough to see the difference, once he is willing to drop $7 or more per 50 rounds, will want to be able to buy larger qty's of the same batch number lot, to be able to rely on sameness throughout the season.

Nice enough stuff to use to get a snapshot of whether or not your particular rifle "might" group better with that particular make, but what does one do, if the batch groups bugholes, and the next batch by the same maker does not? Besides have a good cry, that is? :D

Offer it up to someone with a junior shooter or a club that has same. Or shoot it at grouse or gophers.
