Finally got to try some match ammo. I shot these with Laupa Super Club which I thought grouped great. All shots were taken at 50 yards

I noticed that the RWS had a few fliers in them and wern't as consistent as the Laupa. They still shot fairly well and the majority of the larger groups were my fault.

Here is how my .22 Magnum shot. Not too bad. The average when I actually found my shooting grove and got familiar with the rifle ( I don't shoot it as much as I would like to) was about 1.25-1.5" with 4 shots .75" and the 5th opening up the group.

Here is what it looked like when I settled in. Not bad for a .22 Magnum. It puts all of those shots in the vitals of a gopher at 100 Yards so I think I am happy.

Here are a few that really stood out. These are my best of the day. These results aren't always what happens but it sure fells good when they do.:)

I was thinking of getting a .17 HMR however when I got into the grove with my .22 Magnum I started to get decent groups. Now I know that the rifle can shoot better than I can maybe it is just a matter of practice :confused:

That dime sized 22mag group is delicious!

I had a marlin 25M that could consistently spit nickel sized groups at 100M.... the dollar has increased in value, so I'd say we are at par...

those 100-yard groups are impressive. Lapua Super Club is my brand too, I still have 1.5 brick and struggle between firing them through pistol or rifle. I got that picky Domino 602 target pistol that doesn't take just anything, thing need an expensive diet of Lapua.

I already have:) I found that off all the rounds I have tried the Winchester to be more accurate and consistent. A close second was the Remington Premier 33 grain V-Max but I don't really want to spend $16-18/50:eek:
 
Good job. I'm trying my best to shoot a really decent 5 shot group with my 22LR. It kills me when I get 4 touching and fifth 3/4" off somewhere. I'm going to have to try some of that Lapua and see if my gun likes it. I'm just floored by what a difference, different brands of ammo makes, and that some, so called target ammo, like Federal and Remington don't do anything for my CZ, yet cheap as it comes American Eagle HP's always outgroup them.
