22 lr distance

rimfire shooting.

i shoot my ruger 77.at 100 yrds .fun.interesting to see when the wind picks up a bit.

It's not easy finding a trajectory chart past 100 yards for a .22 LR but here's one. It shows a drop of around 30 inches at 200 meters with a 50 yard zero.

I shoot my 541S and 541T at 200 occasionally, and have shot 5-shot groups under 2" at that distance. But I'm here to tell you that 30" is not enough to hit at 200. IIRC, I have to go up nearly 35" from my 100 meter setting to hit the 200 at point of aim. Regards, Eagleye.

I'm proud to admit that I have never brought a tape measure to the range...just a .22, and a big box of ammo.

Keep it fun folks. :D

I was shooting cars ( middle of the woods, destroyed cars) with my Krinker out to 250m, I could hear the rounds hitting the car door....
