i had atleast 10% of these fail to fire in both my 10/22's yesterday... they were struck properly and made a very distinct hit on the rim...

wtf, i know they are the cheap ammo, 16$ a brick but cummon, lol.... it was pretty bad....

venting finished... carry on... lol

:sniper:

Had similar issue with Winchester HV copper plated. Sent Winchester a pic of the boxes and (deep) pin strikes, they send me $20 gift certificate (to replace the $7.50 on the three boxes).

Went through the bulkpack of dynapoints, 2/500 misfed (was below freezing, could have been mag. or any other issue, feed misformed bullet), no misfires.

CCI std velocity 300 rounds not a single issue.

Personally am avoiding the Remy thunderduds.

Cheers.

Same problem here, at least one in each 10rnd mag failed. Actually had a couple where the projectile came out of the casing while loading the mag!

I tend to stick to federal bulk packs, maybe 1 in 200 will fail. I'd love to use CCI minimags, but I can't find the damn things anywhere around me

Well, I'll consider myself lucky. Haven't any problem with them out of the Brno or Winchester...

Same here....I find dynapoints to be the best of the cheap ammo. My experience is that they always fire, always work well in my semi autos and are more accurate out of my rifles compared to the rest of the cheap stuff I've tried.

Only dynapoints i've seen FTF, so far, was when I was using them in my cooey 64b. The 10/22 hasn't had a FTF on anything... yet.

it seems my hollow points were worse than the dynas, i really should have kept them and taken a picture of them.... i think i will next time... still have a few bricks of them... next week when its not raining the pacific down on us all at once....

If you mean the Xpert I get FTF when they are cold. I'm going to use them in the summer. They're really accurate(for cheap stuff) so I bought a bunch of it. I just can't bring myself to buy pricier stuff for a 22.

winchester ammo

:mad:about 2 years ago I stopped using winchester wildcats and dynapoints , had lots of dudes , even though the firing pin was striking the rim , bought couple of boxes of winchesster power point (.35 rem. ) and had a couple that didn't discharge , got a rebate , but now use remington "yellowjacket" 22's and reload for the .35 ...later Joe

You should see when it's -25. I don't think any ammo works good. American eagles still fire well every time, but you get stovepipes. I'm going to radius the bolt and polish the hammer etc. Hopefully that will help.:runaway:

I can't even get the Dyna-points (22 mag) to even cycle in my CZ. Everything else seems to work fine.

Dynapoints used to be my standard .22lr ammo. Cheap, reliable, and relatively accurate. The Wally World by my place didn't have any for close to 9 months and started to get stock again about 3 months ago so I bought all they had on the shelf (8 boxes). I've only gone through 1 box of this batch and I have experienced 4 fail-to-fires where I had a good primer hit out of my 10/22. My 10/22 is like a Timex clock but this batch of Dynapoints I had extraction problems as well. I don't consider Dynapoints the value they used to be...

I've had trouble with basically all of the cheap, bulk .22lrs in my Winchester 77, the gun seems to be very finicky though. I see a new, more reliable semi that has no issues eating the cheap stuff in my near future,...
