.22 LR Take Down rifles. What are my options?

Spoke with my buddy. He Youtubed a bunch of them and, I think, has decided on the Chiappa Little Badger. He has a RDS from his shotgun that he will put on the Chiappa a la Can-down's advice. I think ease of deployment and light weight ended up being his main requirements. He's now thinking grouse at 25 yds instead!
 
Look at thread 164 in gopher talk. One of the nicest take down you will find. Even put on a low power scope. Had one in high school that was only shorts. I miss this gun after many years. Browning at about $400 for a good one.
