.22 mag groundhog/rabbit thumpers

Hello everyone;

I really enjoy my Savage Model 24 .22mag over 20g for hunting groundhogs and rabbits. Do any of you have favourite .22mag ammo for hunting these furry critters? I've used Winchester WRM 40gr JHP historically with good results, but just picked up a box of CCI Maxi-Mag.

My favorite .22mag ammo is Winchester Supreme HP & Remington Premier Ballistic Tip. These are both dynamite on gophers out West here...I would expect they would do a fine job on Eastern thin skinned critters too, as I have also made 1 shot kills on coyotes out to 100 yards with them as well.
