.22 mag?

What do you guys recommend for a .22 mag, the only models I have experiance with are Henrys. I would like to pick on up for close in coyote work and groundhogs etc.

I love my Savage 93GL (a lefty 93G ). Accurate, feels good in your hand, and overall solid build.

This coming from a "tacticool" type of guy.

for coyotes a semi is nice.

Limits you though to options.

Brno made a model 611 that was amazing , Magnum Research, Volquartzen, Remington 597. Ruger but not made anymore and hard to find.

I got 597 Remington in 22 mag not long ago. I am continually amazed with accuracy and quality of 597's 22lr and 22mag both. I heard about 22mag's being so-so in terms of accuracy, but hey, if you see holes touching at 100 yards its plenty accurate. Maybe not MOA but very close and half of the time under MOA with factory ammo. And that is from factory rifle with sporter barrel and cheaper 4x scope. I just wish ammo was cheaper (sigh)
